Summer is almost here! And we’re celebrating its much-anticipated arrival by giving away a “Sydney Summer Getaway” experience for two people to enjoy and make the most of the warmer months in our wonderful city.

So if you’re the lucky winner of this prize, what will you be treated to?

You’ll start with a night’s stay at Sydney’s new boutique hotel, Aiden Darling Harbour. Opened earlier this year, this art-curious, compact hotel in Sydney’s leafy Pyrmont village by Darling Harbour was created for travellers by travellers. It’s getting rave reviews for its beautiful design and luxuries like a Dyson hairdryer, free-flowing Moda Sparkling water and excellent bottled cocktails!

After a blissful night’s sleep and late checkout, you’ll then indulge in Sydney’s best brunch at Quick Brown Fox Eatery, just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. Kick back alfresco underneath leafy trees with a spritz, Mimosa or iced coffee, and choose from incredible dishes like Lemon Ricotta Hotcakes with a shot of Limoncello on the side, XO Rice Congee topped with glazed speck and a 63 degree egg, and Buffalo Ricotta Dumplings with smoked tomato and macadamia.

Terms and conditions

  • The competition opens 8am AEST 24 October 2022 and closes 9pm AEST 11 November 2022.
  • The competition is open to Australian residents only. Entrants must be aged 18 or older at time of entry.
  • Entries must be submitted via the form on this page.
  • There is one (1) prize of one (1) night’s stay at Aiden Darling Harbour in a City View Room for up to two adults with late check out valued at from AU$299, plus a AU$200 voucher to spend at Quick Brown Fox Eatery. Total prize valued at more than AU$499.
  • The prize is not transferable, redeemable, or exchangeable for cash.
  • Any remaining balance on the AU$200 voucher, not spent at Quick Brown Fox Eatery on the day of redemption, will be forfeited.
  • Transport and travel to or from the venues is not included in the prize.
  • Any additional costs, fees and inclusions incurred at the hotel during the stay are not included in the competition prize and will need to be paid by the winner upon checkout.
  • Any additional costs incurred at Quick Brown Fox Eatery will need to be paid by the winner when settling the bill.
  • The prize must be redeemed within six months of the winner being notified.
  • To redeem the prize, the winner must make a reservation directly with the hotel team either via phone or email quoting the issued voucher number at time of booking, and make a booking with Quick Brown Fox Eatery quoting the issued voucher number at time of booking.
  • All valid entries received during the competition period will be reviewed by management of Aiden Darling Harbour, who will choose their favourite entry based on merits of creativity, originality and suitability.
  • The winner will be notified via email.
  • By entering the competition, entrants agree to receive further communications from Aiden Darling Harbour and/or Quick Brown Fox Eatery.
  • Aiden Darling Harbour and/or Quick Brown Fox Eatery management, staff, suppliers, and their employees (and their immediate families) are ineligible to enter this competition.

Known for serving up some of the best brunch action in Sydney, Quick Brown Fox Eatery has just launched a new menu, featuring a waffle dish which has tongues wagging. The Potato Waffle is a golden brown grated potato and sourdough waffle piled high with spinach, ham off the bone and two runny poached Hunter Valley eggs, doused in hollandaise, with a sprinkling of paprika and chives.
