11 perfect places to use your Dine & Discover vouchers

Fellow residents of Sydney and NSW. It has been a very distracting 12-24 months, so you would be forgiven for forgetting that the NSW government gifted you witha total of six $25 vouchers to spend on dining and entertainment experiences. But now that you’ve remembered, how will you spend them?

Designed to encourage the community to get out and about and support dining, arts and recreation businesses, the Dine & Discover NSW are your ticket to fun at no extra cost. You can use them at thousands of restaurants, cafés, bars and pubs, museums, live music, and arts venues around Sydney and the State, seven days a week.

If you haven’t used yours up yet, you’ve got until the end of June 2022 to cash those bad boys in!

We’ve selected some of our favourite things you could spend yours on and listed them below.

If you’re not a NSW resident and don’t have the good fortune of free vouchers, we would still highly recommend you check out any one of these experiences regardless. They are all great value and worthy of your coin.

Taste Food Tours

Not only will you get a unique food tour taking you to some of the most authentic restaurants in Sydney, with Taste Food Tours you’ll also be supporting a charity and social enterprise providing training to Australian migrants and refugees and local youth. A good starter is the Taste of Sydney which explores Sydney’s newest dining delights in Barangaroo and The Rocks. If you want something a little different, try the Taste of Chinatown tour in Haymarket or Taste of Afghanistan and Syria tour in Merrylands (if you’re willing to travel a little further).

Catmosphere Cat Cafe

What better way to spend your voucher than on cats? Catmosphere is a cat café (yes, that’s right) in Surry Hills and is 100% dedicated to supporting rescue cats and kittens. Spend some playtime with your new feline friends over a beverage or two. Or book in for their Catflix Cat Cinema. A cute cat, some popcorn and a good film, what more could one ask for?!

Local Sauce Tours

Drink and discover your way around Sydney on a secret bar crawl with Local Sauce Tours. If you prefer eating, opt for one of their other tours covering Newtown, Pyrmont or Chinatown
