Two Years In: How Are We Doing?
Just a couple of years ago, we were patiently awaiting Sydney’s COVID-19 lockdown to lift so we could finally open our hotel’s doors. Tens of thousands of guests, countless hours of housekeeping and two New Year’s Eve celebrations later, we’re proud to say we have amassed many success stories to share, including a (very humbling) handful of industry accolades.
For a small, compact hotel, we’ve proudly shown that size doesn’t matter when it comes to delivering an exceptional guest experience, attracting a wonderfully talented team, and taking out the competition when it comes to industry awards.
In the short time since opening in January 2022, we’ve been honoured with half a dozen gongs, recognising both the hotel and the achievements of individual team members.
The most recent industry recognition has come from ARMA (Australian Revenue Management Association), awarding our favourite husband and wife team, hotel owner Nicolas Chen and his partner Jennifer Yeo with an award for Excellence in Commercial Strategy at the 2024 Tourism Employee Awards.
